The engagement session is included in wedding packages as a way for me and the couple to get to know each other more, for them to get a feel for how I shoot, and for me to get a feel for how they interact together. Because of this I really encourage couples to take advantage of the chance for an extra session. However if couples really wish not to use the session there is not a discount of the package price.
If i choose not to use the complimentary engagement session, will that discount the package cost?

In many cases I will shoot weddings alone with the help of my assistant. In the event of a larger wedding where a couple may benefit from a second shooter, a second shooter can be added to any wedding package with an hourly fee.

I do not deliver any unedited images. A portion of a photographer's art is done with the camera, and another portion comes from their editing. Both shooting and editing working together is what creates a photographer's style. When choosing your wedding photographer take great care to ensure you choose someone whose style you love so you can be confident that you will love your delivered images.
Is it possible to receive unedited images?

You can expect to receive your gallery within 8 weeks of your wedding date. However if your gallery is finished early I will be sure to send it right over for you to enjoy.

Now it is time to officially hold your date. To do so I will gather some information from you to draft your contract. To officially hold your date I require a signed contract and payment of 50% of your package as your non-refundable retainer. Once those boxes are checked off I am officially a part of your big day! YAY!
From this point until your wedding we will chat as much as you need. I love to hear all about your planning and I am happy to help with scheduling, timelines, vendor ideas, any questions you may have. Formally we will meet 2 times (in person, phone call or video) to go over specific wedding details together. My goal is to find the best way that I can fit into your day.
As well as our consultations, we will get together for you engagement photos. This session is included as my gift to you for being my wedding couple. Engagement sessions are our time to get a better comfortability with each other. I better get to know the two of you as a couple, and you better get to know my style of photography and how I work.
Know that once you are my couple, you can't reach out to me too much. I am committed to being a positive part of your wedding experience.
